Online consumer behaviour and its relationship to website atmospheric induced flow: Insights into online travel agencies in China

Although the study of flow has recently received a lot attention, little is published about what factors controllable by firms influence its formation. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge between the relationship of website atmospheric cues and flow experience. Using a stimulus–organism–response framework (S–O–R framework) as the theoretical basis, this study examines the impact of consumer perceptions of website atmospheric cues (informativeness, effectiveness and entertainment) on the development of flow and its subsequent impact on purchase intention and satisfaction. A self-administered online survey was used for data collection through an internet market research firm which randomly selected individuals from its online panel. Our results support the validity of the S–O–R framework in the context of online tourism and indicate that flow fully mediates the three site atmospheric cues with regards to purchase intention and satisfaction with the travel website. This study enhances our understanding on the determinants of online purchase intention and satisfaction as well as on how a proper web atmospheric design alters consumer shopping experience which entices favourable purchase intention and generates satisfaction.     

Trends in Approval Times for Genetically Engineered Crops in the United States and the European Union

Genetically engineered (GE) crops are subject to regulatory oversight to ensure their safety for humans and the environment. Their approval in the European Union (EU) starts with an application in a given Member State followed by a scientific risk assessment, and ends with a political decision‐making step (risk management). In the United States (US) approval begins with a scientific (field trial) step and ends with a ‘bureaucratic’ decision‐making step. We investigate trends for the time taken for these steps and the overall time taken for approving GE crops in the US and the EU. Our results show that from 1996–2015 the overall time trend for approval in the EU decreased and then flattened off, with an overall mean completion‐time of 1,763 days. In the US in 1998 there was a break in the trend of the overall approval time. Initially, from 1988 until 1997 the trend decreased with a mean approval time of 1,321 days; from 1998–2015, the trend almost stagnated with a mean approval time of 2,467 days.     

美国转基因生物安全行政监管特点分析

美国的转基因生物安全行政监管主要由农业部、环保署及食品药品管理局负责,部门之间分工明确,且建立了高效的协调机制和良好的公众参与制度;监管部门均设有下属专业的管理单位,强调检测评价报告以科学为依据,在管制方法上,以研究者为核心,以公司财产为担保,采用"自律"管制.这些特点的产生主要依赖于较完善的法律体系以及相当稳定的社会规范.根据我国转基因生物安全监管的现状,美国的监管体系值得我们借鉴:管理机构问的高度协调机制、专家知识的充分利用与信息共享,以及良好的公众参与制度.     

基于商业生态系统视角的我国企业社会责任的思考

本文认为,任何一个企业都是商业生态系统中的生命体,系统的合理性、环境的动态变化直接影响到企业的经营活动和战略发展。企业的可持续发展能力与其所处的环境、社会、商业系统不是分离的,而是相互协调的关系。企业承担必要的社会责任,既有利于自身的可持续发展,又有利于和谐社会的建立。企业应有意识地加强同所处社会环境相结合的紧密程度,自觉增强企业的社会公德和责任意识。文章提出,从企业方面来讲,强化企业社会责任就是要通过企业社会责任自我意识的转变,关注与保障员工权益,保护消费者利益,采取有效措施保护环境等来增强企业的社会责任感;从商业生态系统方面考虑,就是要通过核心企业的带头示范作用、消费者的口碑及货币投票、社会监督和公众形象、政府行为和法律监管等来影响和强化企业的社会责任。     

克隆技术及其在水产上的应用

为让大家进一步了解动物克隆技术，本文简要地介绍了克隆技术的基本概念和发展史。并着重介绍了我国鱼类克隆的研究进展。作者以鲤鲫移核鱼和草鱼肝细胞克隆鱼为例，分析了克隆技术在培育鱼类新品种上的特点和优势。同时阐述了克隆技术在水产育种和种质保存上的应用前景。     

植物转基因技术产业化规律探寻

20 世纪80 年代初发展起来的植物转基因技术,作为植物基因工程的核心技术,可精确改造植物,显著提高作物产量和抗逆性、改良品质性状等,同时能够极大地降低农业生产的成本,缓解不断恶化的农业生态环境,将成为21 世纪解决食物安全、改善人民健康、环境污染、能源短缺等重大社会经济问题最具潜力的技术手段,转基因农作物将占据21 世纪主要农产品的大部分市场。自1983 年第一例转基因植物面世以来,国内外植物转基因技术及其产业化飞速发展,植物转基因技术及其产业已是各国政府和跨国公司的投资重点,基因资源的发掘和占有已成为国际上的竞争制高点,转基因技术及产品的安全性仍是能否产业化的争论焦点,植物生物反应器技术已成为研究热点,而植物抗逆转基因技术仍是目前的研究难点。     

营业转让中的劳动合同承继探讨--从一起劳务派遣转包案件说起

营业转让是用人单位具有一定机能性财产的一体转让,劳动关系已成为营业转让的重要标的和要价筹码。营业转让时劳动者与生产资料继续保持结合,劳动关系转移不违背其人身属性。应在立法中明确规定营业转让时劳动关系随转制度,买受企业应无条件接受原有职工,原职工在劳动条件、福利待遇等不变的情况下不得解除劳动合同。     

The influence of hospitable design and service on patient responses

ABSTRACT

A study of 216 respondents examined a medical center environment’s influence on patient responses. A stimulus–organism–response (S-O-R) model was adapted to the theory that more hospitable healthcare servicescape elements will affect patients’ overall satisfaction with healthcare experience, loyalty intentions, and willingness to pay out-of-pocket expenses for healthcare services. Servicescape elements included atmospherics of the healthcare environment, service delivery by healthcare staff, physical design of the healthcare environment, and wayfinding. Results of structural equation modeling confirmed that the four servicescape elements – had a significant impact on patients’ overall satisfaction with the healthcare experience. Furthermore, overall satisfaction with the healthcare experience predicted patients’ loyalty intentions and willingness to pay out-of-pocket expenses for healthcare services. The study makes a significant contribution to the empirical modeling of patients’ behavioral responses to hospitable healthcare environments.     

保障人的生存和发展:生物产业发展的基本方向——以转基因生物产业为例

保障和改善民生、促进人的生存和发展是我国经济社会发展转型的出发点.转基因生物产业发展中备受争议的生物安全、人类健康、生态环境和粮食安全等问题与人的生存和发展息息相关.文章认为,转基因生物产业应以保障人的生存和发展为基本发展方向,把人的生存和发展置于首位;发展的重点应集中在技术研发上,优先重点研发和应用“非转基因”的生物技术品种,谨慎推进转基因生物产业商业化,商业化品种应以自主研发品种为主;完善立法、监测、应急体系,最大程度降低转基因生物产业发展带来的风险.     

转Bt基因棉籽仁中脂肪酸的分析

采用气相色谱法测定了 1 0个品系转 Bt基因棉籽仁的脂肪酸组成及其相对百分含量。样品所含主要脂肪酸为棕榈酸、油酸、亚油酸。其中亚油酸的相对百分含量最高 ,为 5 9.2 8%～ 65 .2 8%。与美国转 Bt基因棉籽仁及普通棉籽仁进行了对比 ,结果表明 ,脂肪酸组成一致 ,相应组分含量相近。
